Crossing the line… with the Gold!
As we reach the end of the third season of C*4 action – Champion, “Mr. Wrestling” Kevin Steen looks to complete a year holding the belt.  However, following the rush of the victory over Tyson Dux on May 1st, Steen issued the following challenge:

Has Steen bitten off more than he can chew?    As he mentioned, he has accepted three of the five available challenger’s positions for his Championship.  On Friday June 18th, Steen will face off against the following stars….

El Generico – the former friend and tag team partner of Kevin Steen.  The two have been involved in a heated rivalry in Ring of Honor, since Steen blaming Generico for his
lack of success in the promotion, brutally attacked Generico.   One day before they face each other in their first singles encounter in ROH, the next day in Toronto, they will have the chance to face off against each other – and Generico could get a huge win, and walk away from the match with the C*4 Championship.

Player Uno – A man who has had a roller-coaster season in C*4, looks to end the season on a high note…  Player Uno was the man that Kevin Steen pinned last June to capture the C*4 Championship in the tournament finals.   As mentioned on May 1st, Player Uno has not received another opportunity to capture the gold from Steen.   Can Player Uno overcome the odds, and walk away as the second C*4 Champion?

“Player Dos” Stupefied - Previously best known as one half of the tag team Super Smash Brothers, Stupefied has carved out a solid position as a top singles star in C*4 this season.  Having competed in several match of the season candidates, Stupefied scored a huge victory pinning El Generico on May 1st.  Beyond that Stupefied has taken Steen to the limit every time they have competed – can “Player Dos” score a major win?

With those three, we have four people involved in the contest.  Well, C*4 has secured two “International” Challengers for the C*4 Championship – and rounding out the top 6 challengers.  They are…

Manabu Soya – Having been in C*4 for a relatively short time, Soya has impressed fans with his hard hitting skills and roughneck style.  The Japanese strong-style heavyweight, Soya first stole the show, standing toe to toe with Michael Elgin on March 13th.  Soya then took a huge and impressive one-sided victory, cleaning pinning “MVP” Michael Von Payton.   C*4 has granted Soya the opportunity to compete with C*4’s best on June 18th,
and see if he can walk away with Championship gold.

Jimmy Jacobs – C*4 is excited to welcome a true international superstar, former ROH Tag Team Champion, top star of Dragon Gate USA and Evolve, a man who has stood toe to toe with countless world class talents – Jacobs comes to C*4 with Championship gold on his mind.  The former leader of the cult-like “Age of the Fall” in ROH, Jacobs has reinvented himself over the last year and is more competitive than ever.   Can Jacobs make a huge impact in C*4, and take the C*4 Championship?

MVP to address C*4 fans and management on June 18th, 2010
To be frank, Michael Von Payton has had a really bad season in C*4.   In Season 2, Von Payton had a flawless season, defeating all challengers.   However, Season 3 has been the polar opposite.   Having been defeated in every outing this season, MVP seems to have come to a cross roads in his C*4 career.   It is also no secret that Von Payton has a lot on his plate in his personal life – which will no doubt impact his professional wrestling career.

MVP has promised to make a career-altering announcement on Friday June 18th, at Crossing the Line III.  Don’t miss it!
