1. Jae Ruken (Formerly Rennalls) def. Sexxxy Eddy in a fast paced opening contest.

2.   2.O  Def. The Warriors The Warriors impress many in their debut as a team.  A very entertaining and fast paced tag team contest.  2. O uses their tag team experience to pick up the win.

3. Bash Bison def. The Incredible HunksShayne Hawke introduced his handpicked “test” for Bash Bison – the debut appearance as a team in C*4 – Deeno & Cheeky, The Incredible Hunks.   Bash dominated the two and picked up a win.

4.   Rahim Ali def. Beef Wellington in an impromptu Street Fight.  Rahim Ali came out from the locker room, and explained Eddie Osbourne, once again no-showed his challenge.  Ali, said he was prepared for an anything goes match, and challenged anybody to a street fight.  Beef Wellington made his return to C*4 and accepted the challenge.  In a fun brawl throughout the venue, Ali picked up the victory.

5. Qualifying match for C*4 Championship Tournament: Shayne Hawke def. RushBash Bison ran into the ring and Power-bombed Rush, guaranteeing Hawke the victory.

6. Qualifying match for C*4 Championship Tournament: Michael Von Payton def. Twiggy as a result of this match, Twiggy is immediately suspended from competition in C*4 until the end of Season 3.   It should also be noted, MVP assaulted Twiggy post match – and due to this, C*4 management is considering actions to be levied against MVP.

7.   “Mr. Wrestling” Kevin Steen pinned Sonjay Dutt in a tremendous first time-ever encounter.  Steen won cleanly with an exploder into the turnbuckles, followed by a huge package pile-driver.

8.   Super Smash Brother def. The Flatliners, when Stupefied pinned Asylum with a huge frog splash.  The final five minutes of this match were sheer insanity, that saw many big moves hit.   The Super Smash Brothers scored their first ever win over the Flatliners, in a first ever meeting two on two in Ottawa.

Notes: Rahim Ali, Xtremo, Player Uno, Stupefied, MVP, and Shayne Hawke have now all qualified for the C*4 Championship Tournament to take place on June 6th, 2009. Two more slots remain open – due to the card changes – as the final Qualifying matches could not take place.  However – stay tuned as decisions as to who will fill the final spots in the tournament.
Our next event is our season finale on Saturday June 6th, 2009 – as we present “Crossing the Line 2”.  Details to come in the next week or so!
