Without a doubt, all season leads to our annual “Crossing the Line” event – and more so than past season – CTL6 seems to have all the elements to be one of the most combustible events of all time.

All season long, war has raged between “Speedball” Mike Bailey and “Hacker” Scotty O’Shea.  A war that’s beginnings can be traced back last June at “Crossing the Line 5” main event, when O’Shea’s elbow broke Bailey’s nose, and caused “Speedball” to drop out of the match.

At the time, O’Shea played it off as an accident, however as Season 6 began, it became clear that the “Hacker” had targeted Bailey.  All season long, the two have battled back and forth.   Things finally came to a head in April, when Bailey defeated O’Shea in one of the most violent matches in C*4 history, when they met in “Fans Bring the Keyboards”.

When the match was said and done, Bailey had won, and was set to challenge C*4 Champion, Josh Alexanderon May 11th.  And so, as Bailey made his way to the ring for his championship match on the 11th, things took a horrible turn for the worse, when he was jumped from behind and viciously assaulted by “Hacker” Scotty O’Shea.    An assault that only ended when then-Champion, Alexander ran to the ring to run off O’Shea.

When it became clear that Bailey could not wrestle, Alexander’s competitive nature took over – and he issued a challenge to O’Shea, right there and then.  A challenge, O’Shea accepted.

O’Shea and Alexander brawled through-out the building, in the match that followed.  The fight saw two referees knocked out, and could have gone either way throughout the bout.  While both refs were unconscious, Bailey hobbled to the ring, a keyboard in hand.  Clearly aiming his aggression at O’Shea – a simple mistake lead to that keyboard shattering over Alexander’s head, and lead to the “Hacker” pinning the champion.

“Hacker” Scotty O’Shea was declared the new champion.  The “Ronin” had fallen, a victim of his own confidence.  “Speedball” used as a pawn.

One Championship.  
Three man. 
One fall.
One date – June 15th, 2013.
The most explosive match in C*4 history.

And now for something completely different…

The first of several, first time ever encounters for CTL6 will see a unique and intense battle between two men that will have to be seen live, to be believed.

Words will not be able to do this match justice…. Just be there!

Lastly for today – we’re excited to announce a first time ever tag team match – in which C*4 Tag Team Champions, TdT, Mathieu St. Jacques and Thomas Dubois, will defend their championship against SEVENother teams!

The rules will be explained in the coming weeks – but it will be an elimination type contest, featuring non-stop action, featuring the very best in C*4 tag team competition.

We are pleased to announce the first batch of teams set to participate in the 2013 C*4 Tag Team Championship Open:

The first challengers are making their return to C*4 tag team action, and will be looking to climb to the very top of the of the C*4 mountain…  We are excited to welcome back Shane Matthews and “Jagged” Scott Parker – 3.0!

Next up, ex-champions, who are looking reclaim their former glory – and once again prove their tag team dominance.   The next participants, Christopher Bishop and Lionel Knight, Checkmate!

Can one of these two teams manage to defeat the seemingly unstoppable TdT?  Or will TdT manage to retain against  14 hungry competitors in seven challenging teams?!

Main Show
1.   C*4 Tag Team Champions, Mathieu St. Jacques & Thomas Dubois overcame the odds in a surprise four-corners tag team match, defeating “Most Valuable Egos”, MVP & Ethan Page, The Incredible Hunks, Deeno & Cheeky, and Brent Banks & Jae Rukin.

2.   In his debut Ottawa appearance, Travis Toxic defeated Leon St. Giovanni in a very fast-paced encounter.  Both men made an impression on the C*4 fans, and will be welcomed back in the future.

3.  Alex Vega narrowly beat Cheech Hernandez, in a rematch of their April 27th bout.  Vega extended his hand to Cheech after the match for a handshake – which Cheech accepted – a curiously that Vega didn’t extend to Ceech the month previous.

4. In a weird and wild three-way dance, “Dirty” Buxx Belmar won against Sexxxy Eddy and Pinkie Sanchez.   No words in the English language can accurately describe what took place during this match – so we’ll just say this – See this match when it becomes available!

5.  In an Inter-gender Six-Person tag team challenge, Vanessa Kraven was the sole survivor for her team, and the victor of the match.  The order of elimination saw Jodi D’Milo, and Angie Skye both out early.  However, Vanessa Kraven made short work of both Giant Tiger, and Mathew Ryan Shapiro’s stand-in “Garry Banacheck”. 

Finally, when it was down to Twiggy and Vanessa Kraven, Shapiro and Giant Tiger urged the inter-gender champion to walk out of the match because they didn’t feel “Vanessa Kraven” wasn’t worth it.  And, on his own volition, Twiggy walked out of the match.

Regardless off how, Vanessa Kraven now has a win over Twiggy – and no doubt – will be recognized as a contender for Twiggy’s title.

6. “Hacker” Scotty O’Shea pinned “The Warrior of the Deities” Amasis, in a very close contest.  O’Shea certainly seemed to have recovered from his loss to “Speedball” Mike Bailey two weeks prior.

O’Shea wasn’t done for the night however.

7. In a match that demonstrated tag team excellence, and one of the biggest shockers in C*4 history, The Afterparty, Cecil Nyx and Chaz Lovely were victorious against The Super Smash Brothers, Player Uno & Stu Grayson.

Both teams gave it their all and had fans on their feet through-out the match-up.  This was one of the best tag-team matches in C*4 history, period.

8.  As “Speedball” Mike Bailey made his way to the ring for his Championship match against “Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander - “Hacker” Scotty O’Shea ran out from the locker room, and attacked.

For the next several minutes, O’Shea assaulted Bailey with a chair, and attempted to break his leg – until officials and Alexander – managed to break up the situation.

Clearly unable to compete, officials assisted Bailey to the locker room.

Alexander then took the mic, and issued a challenge to O’Shea – his title on the line – anything goes – one fall to a finish.  A challenge, which O’Shea accepted.

The match saw both men brawl throughout the venue, using everything that wasn’t nailed down.  Alexander, clearly upset over the fact he was not able to defend his championship against Bailey, took out his frustrations on O’shea.

As the back and forth battle progressed, O’Shea and Alexander both seemed to have the match won at different times.

The shocking conclusion saw both referee Bakais, and second official Serge St. Denis, knocked out by vicious assaults by O’Shea.  With both officials down, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, hobbled back to the ring, with a keyboard in hand.   Alexander, spotting Bailey, called him into the ring, and held O’Shea as an open target for him

Somehow, freeing himself from Alexander’s grasp, O’Shea ducked – and Bailey nailed the champion out with keyboard.  O’Shea threw the injured Bailey from the ring, and managed to cover Alexander for the 1, 2, and 3.

With this, “Hacker” Scotty O’Shea became the fourth C*4 Champion in history.

Following the match, Bailey has been diagnosed with a hyper extended knee, and a minor corneal abrasion (presumably from a wild shot from O’Shea).   Without a doubt, Bailey is both recovering from the physical damage, but also the lost opportunity of C*4 Championship gold.

Alexander was obviously upset following the match – and got into a physical altercation with several members of the staff in the locker room.  Clearly upset from the loss, Alexander has vowed revenge.

All of this leaves O’Shea with a giant target on his chest and his newly acquired Championship.

We have one more match to announce – as well as some other bits of news for all fans attending tomorrow night.

Rounding out the card tomorrow night, is a rematch between two men who battled two weeks ago in a highly competitive contest at Domination 2K13.

Alex Vega, who lost to Cheech Hernandez in a highly competitive contest – looks to even the score tomorrow night   C*4 management has granted Vega a chance at redemption against Cheech, as they will compete one-on-one!

Participating in his first singles match-up in a long while, Jae Rukin jumps into singles action this Saturday night.  Prior to his current run with partner Brent Banks, Rukin was an accomplished singles talent for many years in C*4.

Squaring off against Rukin, is a new face to C*4 debuting on the main roster.   C*4 is pleased to welcomeInterSpecies Wrestling & Beyond Wrestling’s Leon St. Giovanni!

Leon debuted on the pre-show several months ago, and impressed C*4 fans and management alike.

Having overcome and defeated the former champions, The Afterparty, in a two out of three falls match – TdT is ready for their next challenge.

Previously we announced that Sexxxy Eddy would be returning to C*4 action on May 11^th, against Shawn Spears.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Shawn Spears will not be able to compete at Slam Masters on May 11^th.

C*4 has decided to give fans a first time-ever “Three-Way Dance” – which just seems like it would fit at Funhaven…

His first opponent – a man riding high off of several big wins – and rising popularity – “Dirty” Buxx Belmar.

Buxx vs. Eddy would seem to be enough to set the bar high for an off-the-wall showdown.  Well, it’s going to get a little stranger.

The following note was received by C*4 Management this morning, via Email:

“April 27, 2013 was set to be the beginning of a new era.

The REAL Vanessa Kraven and myself were set to claim victory. We were set to take that victory to the Inter Gender Wrestling Committee.

There would have been no doubt that following that victory, we would be named Inter Gender Tag Team Champions of the World.

The pomp and circumstance would have been that of which only kings have experienced.

April 27, 2013 will now be remembered as one of the darkest days in professional wrestling.

As I was set to leap off of the top rope on the way to glory, there was a Big Foot sighting at ringside. After having stomped down from the Pacific Northwest all the way to Ottawa, Vanessa Kraven took it upon herself to not only cause a distraction, but “she” grabbed my leg. Effectively assaulting me.

This miscarriage of justice occurred in front of the officials eyes. He watched it take place. He did nothing about it. Absolutely nothing.

That official’s name is Benoit Pilon. He is a moron. I have filed a report against this official so no one will suffer the same fate as I did on April 27, 2013.

I urge C*4 Management to do the right thing and take appropriate action. Revoke his referee license so he may never officiate another match ever again.

Weeks ago I wrote that Vanessa Kraven was a stain on the underpants of C*4 Wrestling and that I was the detergent.

This is a stubborn stain. In fact, it seems as if detergent will not do the trick.

The question is, how does someone go about removing a stubborn stain? Well, at a certain point, you must come to terms with the reality that these underpants have been tainted forever.

Do you throw those underpants out? No. That would be too easy. Far too easy.

You must burn those underpants. Set them on fire so they can never return.

May 11, 2013 will be my redemption.

1) “MVP” Michael Von Payton & “All Ego Stand-In” Colin Delaney narrowly overcame the tandem of Banks & Rukin in a thrilling opener.

2) In a fast-paced collision, Cheech Hernandez pinned Alex Vega.  After the match, Cheech extended his hand to Vega in a sign of good sportsmanship – only to have Vega slap Cheech’s hand away in frustration.

3) The debuting “Sexual Spider Monkey” Pinkie Sanchez defeated “Superstar” Shayne Hawke in a wild contest.  Pinkie quickly won over the C*4 audience with his unpredictable antics.

4) In a hard hitting match-up, C*4 Tag Team Champions, T.d.T, Mathieu St. Jacques & Thomas Dubois overcame the challenge The Afterpary, Cecil Nyx & Chaz Lovely in a 2 out of 3 falls match. The first fall came for The Afterpary after TdT intentionally got themselves disqualified by attacking Chaz with a chair.  Quickly they followed up with a pin on the damaged team to score a fall of their own.  The final fall went to TdT, but not without a great challenge and showing by Cecil & Chaz.

5) In an upset, Jodi D’Milo & Angie Skye scored a win over the World Inter-Gender Champion, Twiggy & Giant Tiger.  The end came when Vanessa Kraven  interfered and assisted Skye & D’Milo score the victory.

Following the loss, Twiggy issued a challenge to the three women  to an elimination tag team match for May 11th’s “Saturday Night Slam Masters”!

6) In an Open-Contract Challenge - “Dirty” Buxx Belmar pinned his surprise opponent – the debuting -“Warrior of the Deities” Amasis.

Best known for his work in Chikara, Amasis recently returned to professional wrestling from a near-career ending back injury.  Amasis is a welcome addition to the C*4 locker room.

Buxx continues his winning ways this season, having scored huge wins over both Amasis and Franky the Mobster.

7) In an outstanding tag team showcase - The Super Smash Brothers beat Checkmate.  In a near show-stealing match-up, Uno & Stu managed to work on the same page and stay one-step ahead of Bishop & Lionel.  

A true showcase of tag team excellence, this contest featured two teams at the top of their games.

8) In one of the most brutal matches in C*4 history, “Speedball” Mike Bailey defeated “Hacker” Scotty O’Shea in a “Fans Bring the Keyboards” match, following a top-rope Green-Tea Plunge on top of a pile of keyboards.

Both men bled, and suffered a tremendous physical toll in this near 20-minute violent encounter.

Some highlights included Bailey delivering a flurry of kicks to O’Shea while a keyboard was duct-taped to his kick-pad, as well as a bag of computer keys being dumped out in the middle of the ring – and saw Bailey’s bare feet landing hard onto them.

As a result of the match, Bailey will challenge C*4 Champion, Josh Alexander in two weeks, at “Saturday Night Slam Masters”!

C*4 makes our debut on Saturday May 11th at Funhaven (1050 Baxter Road – next to IKEA) -when we present SATURDAY NIGHT SLAM MASTERS!

C*4 returns to the KOC hall on Saturday June 15th, when we present our SEASON 6 FINALE – “CROSSING THE LINE 6″!

This event will be the second event of the day – as we welcome InterSpecies Wrestling back to Ottawa, and they present “Summer Slamtasia” that afternoon!

In under a week from now, we will be presenting our next huge show, featuring – for the first time ever – a FANS BRING THE KEYBOARDS match!  A little later on in this update, we’ll be covering the rules surrounding the “FANS BRING” portion of that name.

Before that – we have two more exciting matches to round out the card for this Saturday night.

First off – another possible show-stealing contest between two determined and popular young men – looking to score a very important win.

On one side of the ring, is a man who is hoping to gain some traction following his loss to “Superstar” Shayne Hawke on March 9th – and get back to near the top of the card – “Rocksteady” Alex Vega.

Vega not only lost the match, but found himself on end of fan jeering – which in turn lead to him losing his cool and getting physical with a fan and his drink.

Vega, pound for pound, is one of the most talented wrestlers in the C*4 locker-room, but he must find a way to focus to climb the ladder of success.

Stepping into the match against Vega, is another man who found himself at a loss his last appearance in C*4.

C*4 is happy to welcome back, the returning Cheech Hernandez this Saturday night!

Who will walk away on top on Saturday night?  One thing is for sure, you won’t want to miss this match!

Next up, and rounding out the card on Saturday night, will be a tag team contest featuring the slowly-building momentum tandem ofBrent Banks and Jae Rukin – and another team who haven’t been able to hit their stride yet…

Correction – featuring half of a tag team who haven’t been able to hit their stride – and a hand-picked replacement partner.

The “Most Valuable Egos” were born in an impromptu moment between “MVP” Michael Von Payton and “All Ego” Ethan Page.   However, since then the team have yet to pick up a win.

Out of frustration – Ethan Page has told C*4 management – that he will not be present on Saturday night – and has instead selected a handpicked partner to team as a replacement-“Ego”.

Teaming with MVP on Saturday night – making his return to C*4 after a long absence – former WWE/ECW talent – Colin Delaney!

Can the one-time “New Breed Underdog” help change things for the “MV-Ego’s”?  Or will Rukin and Banks manage to pull off an important victory?

Last but not least for today – as we touched upon earlier – here are the official rules concerning fans who are participating in the donations for “Fans Bring the Keyboards” on Saturday night.

•   All keyboards brought by fans and wished to be included in the match will be collected by C*4 staff at the doors prior to entering the venue.

•   Donated keyboards will not be returned.

First off, we’re tremendously excited for our debut at Funhaven – and for bringing C*4 action to the west end of town for the first time ever.   The facility is an exciting one for fans to visit before and after the show.  The facility is fully licensed with proper ID, and all attractions will be open until 1am!

Secondly, we’re happy at this time to announce several matches for that night.

First up, as previously announced – C*4 Champion, Josh Alexander will return to action at SNSM, and defend his championship.   He will be squaring off against the winner of the “Fans Bring the Keyboards” match, between “Speedball” Mike Bailey and “Hacker” Scotty O’Shea, set to take place at “Domination 2K13”.

No doubt, Alexnader will  be keeping a close eye on things come April 27th – as whomever survives what could be the most dangerous match in C*4 history – will be coming for his title, next.

Will Bailey or O’Shea manage to come out on top on April 27th, and then two weeks later take C*4’s top prize?  Or can Alexander once again manage to retain his title against a determined challenger?

Next up, a very exciting first time ever tag team encounter – featuring a recently reunited and still trying to work out their differences duo, against an underdog team who may walk in on May 11th as the new C*4 tag team champions!

Facing off with Eddy, a man who is looking to make an impact in C*4 – and hoping to have better results than in his debut last month – former WWE superstar – Shawn Spears!

These two men are both looking to score a very important win.   For Eddy, it would be an exclamation point to C*4 management and get him back in the mix of things.  While for Spears, it would be the impact he had hope to make in his debut last month, but this time in singles action.
