#C4CTLX – C*4 Championship Match Official Announcement!

C*4 Champion, Mathieu St. Jacques has held his Championship since September of 2015.  Despite this long reign, he is the second longest reigning C*4 Champion ever.

While one would think it would be Mathieu St. Jacques who is motivated to break the record, it actually a different story.

Stu Grayson held the C*4 Championship for over two years, 729 days to be exact.  A record that has stood for the last five years – and one that he is not ready to see broken.
Somewhere over the last year, it became clear that Grayson’s motivations went from being conquering and dominated the C*4 Tag Team scene, to focusing on St. Jacques reign.

As a result of this change in focus, Stu Grayson and his partner for the last year, Thomas Dubois, would go on to lose the C*4 Tag Team Championships.   And, as a result, Grayson and Dubois would come to blows.

Thomas Dubois has always been best known as a Tag Team competitor in C*4, and elsewhere.  He and Mathieu St. Jacques are perhaps the most dominate tag team in C*4’s history, and the only reason they parted ways was due to St. Jacques championship victory.

Dubois and St. Jacques are as close a tandem could be, a bond as close as brothers, the duo could dominate any tag division in the world.   Dubois, perhaps due to this relationship never asked for a Championship match against St. Jacques.  However, it should be noted that the only time MSJ has been pinned by anybody was by Dubois, last August at Fighting Back, in a tag team contest.

If given the chance, could Thomas Dubois repeat history, and once again pin Mathieu St. Jacques?

Could Stu Grayson repeat history, and become an unstoppable C*4 Champion again?

Or will Mathieu St. Jacques continue to chase history, by blazing into the future as the C*4 Champion?

This match could go any and every way.  Who will come out on top?  What will C*4 look like once the match is done?  And most importantly, will any of these men ever be the same again?

Do not miss this match.  Much more than just a Main Event.  This will be a battle like C*4 has never witnessed before.  This will be a war.
