Season 7 begins… Our competitors, our action, our fans: WORLD’S FINEST!
In under a month, C*4 returns to action, when we kick-off SEASON 7 – with “WORLD’S FINEST”.

Over the years, we’ve heard it time and time again, from fans, and from visiting stars – “You’ve got something special here”.

This season is all about C*4 showing everybody why we are amongst the best on the indy landscape – from our competitors, to each and every one of our fans.   The energy that is projected by all of you has created something that did not exist in this city when we kicked off Season 1.

Let’s jump right into the card for Saturday Sept. 28th’s big event!

First off – our Main Event…  The only suitable match that we felt could be delivered for a show with the name “World’s Finest” would be to present a rematch – of arguable – the best match in C*4 history.  A rematch from the Main Event of “Crossing the Line 6”… However, this time, with even more at stake.

On June 15, 2013 – “Speedball” Mike Bailey realized a success that many people never saw happening – he became the fifth C*4 Champion.  The win, was a culmination of a years-long journey to rise to the top of the C*4 promotion.

Bailey defeated the then-champion, “Hacker” Scotty O’Shea and previous champion, “Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander.

C*4 management have decided that the only suitable main event for Sept. 28th would be a rematch of this incredible encounter.   Bailey has accepted the challenge – he will defend against former champions, Josh Alexander and Scotty O’Shea.  However this time, the match has a single stipulation to go along with the normal “one-fall to a finish” C*4 Championship regulations.

The single stipulation will be, no matter who wins, this will be the FINAL ENCOUNTER between these three participants for this season.  Neither O’Shea nor Alexander can challenge Bailey or each other, if they are unsuccessful, and Bailey will not be allowed a chance of a rematch if he doesn’t successfully defend.  This will be the last time these three talents will be allowed to interact this season.

Three men.
One Championship.
One Winner.
Zero rematches.

Next up for today, a grudge match between two men whose own egos were far too large to co-exist…

During CTL6 “Tag Team Open”, the breakdown between “MVP” Michael Von Payton and “All Ego” Ethan Page came to a head.  Both men came to blows, and both blamed each other for the loss.

Well, on Sept. 28th, both men will face off in a one-on-one situation – and bragging rights go to the winner.  Will the veteran Von Payton defeat the younger Page?  Or will “All Ego” step up and overcome “MVP”?

Speaking of tag team action – and C*4’s absolutely loaded tag roster – we’re excited to announce a big tag team match-up, between two of the finest and most experience tandems on the roster.

Two teams that have competed several times over the years, going back to the days of the International Wrestling Syndicate (IWS), will add another chapter on Sept. 28th.  Squaring off will be former C*4 Tag Team Champions, Checkmate (Lionel Knight & Christopher Bishop) – and a team that has been a part of C*4 since day 1 – 3.O, (Shane Matthews & “Jagged” Scott Parker).

Don’t miss this, potentially show-stealing, encounter!

Lastly for today, C*4 is excited to announce an exciting international debut for Sept. 28th.

Making his first-ever Canadian appearance, a young man who has turned heads in CZW, and Dragongate USA –Shane Strickland!

Strickland’s fast-paced, high flying, and flashy style, has made quiet an impact over the last year or so – and we are very excited to welcome him to C*4 on Sept. 28th!

His opponent is a man who spent most of Season 6 on the outside, travelling the world and gaining experience and exposure in both Mexico and Japan.  C*4 is pleased to announce that Strickland’s opponent will be the always dangerous, and determined, Sebastian Suave!
