C*4 “Nightmare City” Official Results
Friday, January 30, 2019
St. Anthony’s Hall, Ottawa, Ontario

Attendance: 650+ (Sold Out, Standing Room Only)

1.  The Fraternity (Channing Decker & Trent Gibson) scored a major victory over MTL Elite (Benjamin Tull & Brad Alexis), after Jonathan Rukin distracted MTL Elite.   After the match, Alexis go on the microphone and issued a challenge on behalf of Tull for his Underground Championship, to Rukin.  Which lead to…

2. In under 30 seconds, Jonathan Rukin scored a shocking win over Benjamin Tull to win the C*4 Underground Championship.

3. Evil Uno won a Six-Way Scramble, defeating “The Curse” Cecil Nyx, “Scrapper” James Stone,  Seleziya Sparx, “Golden Gun” Mark Wheeler, and the debuting and impressive Kris Statlander.

4. C*4 Tag Team Champions, “MVP” Michael Von Payton & Sheldon Jean snuck in a victory over Fight Or Flight (Vaughn Vertigo & Gabriel Fuerza).  Issues seem far from finished between these teams.

5. In an insane brawl, “Diamond Tiger” Kobe Durst scored a major win over “Dirty Daddy” Chris Dickinson.  The end saw Kobe escape a top rope Pazuzu bomb, turning it into a hurricanrana, sending Dickinson through a door, set-up in the middle of the ring.     Durst scored the pin immediately following the reversal.

6. Josh Briggs pinned “All Ego” Ethan Page in a four-corner match, that also included “Retro-Sexual” Anthony Greene and “MJF” Maxwell Jacob Friedman.

7. In a shocking upset, “The Fly” Eli Everfly pinned Tyson Dux.

8. In an impressive debut, The Butcher and The Blade, Pepper Parks and Andy Williams, defeated Tabarnak De Team, Mathieu St. Jacques and Thomas Dubois.  The wild brawl saw both teams using chairs and doors.
9. In an intense and hard hitting contest, “Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander scored a major victory, defeating C*4 Champion, Matt Angel, to regain the Championship.

The ending saw Matt Angel attempt to deliver his top-rope Spanish-fly, only for Josh to reverse the move into a second-rope Tombstone piledriver, followed by the pinfall.

This victory begins Josh’s second C*4 Championship reign.   With a gap of six years between reigns, Alexander came back from a long hiatus due to a neck injury that lead into a short break from wrestling, before returning to C*4 over the last couple of years, and climbing back to the top of the promotion.

Meanwhile, the loss is a shocking one for Matt Angel.  Many questions surround the young (now former) Champion.  Will he pursue a rematch?  Where does he go from here?  Did Angel get cocky and bite off more than he could chew against the bigger and more experienced Alexander?

C*4 returns to action on March 22nd, as we present “Reign of Fire”!  Card information coming soon.  In the meanwhile, we welcome back Femmes Fatales on February 22nd at St. Anthony’s Hall!
