Ottawa Ontario

Referees: Bakais, Serge St. Denis, Gerry Hodges, and Benny

* Izzie Deadyet won a 14 man battle royal.

Main Card
1 – C*4 Underground Champion, Viking, successfully defended his Championship against Kevin Blanchard, subbing for an injured Pinkie Sanchez.

2 – Deeno Benjamin managed to survive the 2016 Fighting Back Invitational, and was crowned the 2016 FBI Champion, last eliminating Gabriel Fuerza.  Also appearing in the match were Vanessa Kraven, Vaughn Vertigo, Decker Lockart, Mr. Jonathan Rukin, Velvet Jones, She-Nay-Nay, D-Man, and Pauly Platinum.

It should be noted that Michael Von Payton and Rahim Ali distracted Vanessa Kraven, leading to her elimination.

3 – In a match presented by InterSpecies Wrestling, Shitty pinned Addy Starr following a piledriver onto Lego.  As a result of the match, Addy Starr must retire from professional wrestling.

Following the match a tearful Addy Starr said and emotional goodbye to all of her fans.

4 – “MVP” Michael Von Payton and “Prince” Rahim Ali defeated “Superstar” Shayne Hawke and “PCP” Crazy F’n Manny.

Following the match, Vanessa Kraven emerged, and helped Manny and Hawke drop Ali through a table.

5 – In a highly competitive contest,  Space Monkey defeated Amasis.

6 – Franky the Mobster overcame “The Curse” Cecil Nyx and Dasher Hatfield in a highly entertaining three-way dance.

7- In an outstanding contest, “Speedball” Mike Bailey pinned Chavo Guerrero Jr. following a Green Tea Plunge.

The match saw both men give it their all, and had the entire audience on their feet for much of it.

Following the match, Chavo took a moment to speak to the audience and praised Bailey and the audience.

8 – In a high impact, and hard-hitting battle, C*4 Tag Team Champions, Stu Grayson and Thomas Dubois defeated C*4 Champion Mathieu St. Jacques and Evil Uno.

The finish came with Dubois delivered a tombstone piledriver to St. Jacques, after Stu punted the Champion in the head.

Thomas Dubois scored the fall and the win for his team.

Following the main event, as per annual tradition, the total amount raised was announced.  This year, Fighting Back: Wrestling with Cancer was pleased to announce that over $33 000 had come in!

We’ll be issuing a statement in the coming week or so with an updated total, and a full “Thank You” list, mentioning all the very important people and groups who helped make this happen.  For now, all of us, please accept our gratitude, for helping us not only hit our goal of over $100 000 on the fifth anniversary of Fighting Back, but totally destroying it and reaching over $115 000!
