#C4PHENOMENA – This Saturday night! Underground Championship match!  Six Man Tag Team Battle!  Full Card Set!

This Saturday night, C*4 returns for another night of one-of-a-kind in Canada action!   Right now we have two more matches to announce to round out this absolutely STACKED card!

First up, a Championship defence from man who shocked the C*4 audience with a pair of recent wins over Evil Uno – “Diamond Tiger” Kobe Durst.

Durst’s next major challenger comes from a man who debuted at #C4Underground3.  A man who scored a major win over Cecil Nyx, and made an immediate impact in C*4…  Jeff Cannonball.

Can Durst keep his momentum going?  Or will Cannonball score a huge win and become the fourth ever C*4 Underground Champion?

“Diamond Tiger” Kobe Durst
Vs.
Jeff Cannonball

Next up a six man tag team match featuring a two different trios, filled with very familiar partnerships.

Last month, we saw the returning Sebastian Suave defeat Cecil Nyx using some questionable tactics.

We also saw the tandems of High n’ Mighty, Jonathan Rukin and Velvet Jones, go to a double count-out with Cuts & Guts, Tarik and Greed, in the opening spot of a Tag Team Championship gauntlet.

Things seem far from over for all involved… And on Saturday night, former members of The Afterparty, and the Pineapple Soda Club, will reunite in six man tag team action!

#C4PHENOMENA – This Saturday night!  Twiggy invited to address C*4
C*4 management have come to terms with former C*4 Champion, and long-time C*4 performer, Twiggy, to appear this Saturday night.

Having shown up unexpectedly last month – Twiggy caught many off guard, to say the least.  Tensions were high among C*4 management, and staff, as Twiggy took to the ring to speak.  In the end, Twiggy was forced from the building, and escorted off the venue’s grounds.

Following discussions between C*4 and Twiggy, the promotion has agreed to give the former Champion an opportunity to appear on Saturday night.

For C*4’s part, we apologize to Twiggy for the hostile environment he found himself welcomed with last month, and will welcome him back into the ring at #C4Phenomena.

#C4Phemomena – Card news! A huge rematch, and a first time ever collision!
We’re under a month away from #C4Phenomena, and we’ve already announced several huge matches including a monstrous C*4 Championship contest, and more!

Well, right now we have two more big matches to announce that are set for April 22nd.

First up… A Rematch!

Back in January, we witnessed a sprint of a battle between Tyson Dux and David Starr, at that time for the WXW Shotgun Championship.

During the battle, Dux managed to have Starr beat in the center of the ring.  However, due to the referee being out of position, Starr was able to narrowly escape.  Starr would go on to defeat Dux, and claim victory in their first ever contest.

Well, on April 22nd, Dux has a chance to redeem himself.  This time, no titles will be on the line, just pride.  Do not miss a rematch between two of the most well rounded wrestlers in all of independent wrestling!

Special Challenge – Rematch
David Starr
Vs.
Tyson Dux

Next up is a collision between one of C*4’s most dangerous men – and - a young man making his main roster debut and who is looking to score a huge win.

On one side of the ring, the man who was the very first C*4 Underground Champion.  The Quebecois Hardcore icon himself, VIKING.

Standing opposite of him, a man who debuted on February’s Underground event, and returns on April 22nd looking at possibly the biggest challenge of his career, Tony Deppen.

#C4Phenomena – C*4 Tag Team Championship match set!
As we move closer and closer to our next big event, we can now officially announce a match that was set in motion following our March 18th event – when James Stone and Alextreme became the top contenders to the C*4 Tag Team Championship.

Heavy Metal Chaos will face off with a tandem who defeated them in their debut, last season.  That team now happens to be the C*4 Tag Team Champions, Stu Grayson and Thomas Dubois.

Grayson and Dubois, a pair that started at odds with one another, finally seemed to be on the same page.  However, at #C4MeanStreets, it was Grayson’s lust for the C*4 Championship that saw him take advantage of his partner, Dubois, and ultimately eliminate him from contention of the match.

Will the duo stand united?  Or will Stone and Alextreme prove to be the dividing force, and capture the C*4 Tag Team Championships?

#C4Phenomena – Main Event Set!  St. Jacques’ biggest challenge!  Hair(style) vs Hair(style) set!
Coming out of #C4MeanStreets, there were a lot of questions hanging over all of our minds…

Who would be the next challenger to step-up to the seemingly unstoppable Champion, Mathieu St. Jacques?

Where do the current C*4 Tag Team Champions, Stu Grayson and Thomas Dubois stand, following coming to blows?

Where is the monstrous mind of Franky the Mobster, having seen him turn on and viciously layout his former partner Space Monkey?

What will happen when Vanessa Kraven finally gets her hands on Michael Von Payton?

Well, we have a couple of announcements right now to set the stage for Saturday April 22nd’s massive show, #C4Phenomena!

To answer one of those questions right now – we can give an update on Franky the Mobster.  When approached about facing off with Space Monkey by C*4 Management, Franky immediately turned down the match.  Citing having already wasted enough time with Space Monkey, he had no interest in facing off with him another time.

To be clear, Space Monkey has made several requests to C*4 Management to be given an opportunity to face off with Franky.  All of which have been shot down by Franky.

Franky’s in turn made the demand suggestion to management that he be granted an opportunity to challenge Mathieu St. Jacques for the C*4 Championship.  Making the argument that his ONLY chance at the C*4 title was back in June of 2009, in the finals of the first ever C*4 Championship Tournament.

Well, on April 22nd, Franky will get his chance.

Mathieu St. Jacques has faced off with all sorts of different challengers over the last 18 months – but he has never faced off with anybody the likes of Franky the Mobster.

No DQ, No Count-out, One Fall to a Finish.  Franky vs. MSJ.

And next up, making things official for a challenge that was laid out at our last event…  The match has been signed.  One on One, Rahim Ali is barred from the building, there must be a winner.

If Vanessa Kraven wins, “MVP” Michael Von Payton must shave his “Soul Patch” goatee, and his Faux-Hawk will be banned from ever appearing in C*4.

If Von Payton wins, Vanessa Kraven will dye her hair blonde, and will never be allowed to wrestle a man in C*4 again.

First, I haven't been to many C*4 shows this one has been the one in a long time.

First impressions: I can see why people enjoy C4's wrestling, amazing show put on by the folks.

I had not seen Vanessa in a few years live she looks great! She has really come into her role and also her look is nice and impressive.

Brute? All I can say is great match! To me this was the match of the evening, not because it had sick bumps (Viking got that one for the night!) but because the story they told while an "easy read" was very well played out by all 4 wrestlers, the 3 vs 1 for a while then you got rid of the big guy for a bit, as he's out of the ring the high flyers flew until he came back for a comeback, you got a bit of everything and in the end Brute wins.

MVP vs Vanessa in Hair vs.. Hair Bikini match at the next show will be entertaining, and hopefully we'll see MVP get shaved LOL.

What else impressed me... Fans were in the show and into the matches which always makes for a great night of watching.

Franky: You sir are a beast! I love your outfit with the mask I didn't recognize you at first having seen you only  afew times previously but dude, you've almost doubled in size since I saw you... Truly beastly! (in a good way)

Viking... Sick ass bump I'm glad to hear you survived... Thrown out of the ring over the top rope and onto the cement floor... Ouch!

Uno dude... Haven't seen you in a few years, you still got it... and have added a bit... (not that I am one to say much I've added more then a bit myself!)

Stu man you are ripped as hell, you haven't stopped loving it it seems, and you're putting the work into it since CPW days!

Tag teams that impressed, seeing that it was a five man mish mash of sorts, the tag match I didn't really enjoy, not because of the guys but just because they didn't have a lot of time to go one on one, the prelim match with double DQ was an ok ending, lets hope we see those two teams back in action to settle the score.

Overall I was impressed with the show.

I've spoke to Mark and he's explained apparently the signs have been a long standing /running joke but I was not a fan of seeing signs with "just" the C word... Don't get me wrong I'm 100% behind expressing yourself, and the guy who took the time to draw lady parts and say "MVP IS A above it made me chuckle... That /was/ funny. However seeing a sign just with the C word (and yes I admit I hate that word) I didn't enjoy it. Why? It takes ten seconds to write a single word that in itself means nothing, lets be more original folks, you're spending your hard earned dollars on a piece of cardboard and making a statement and all you can come up with is "C"... just left me dry, it's a free country and you can say it if you wnat but to me it shows nothing really. Just my thoughts on it, I'm not attacking anyone here just making a comment.

C*4 presents “Mean Streets”
Saturday, March 18, 2017
Ottawa, Ontario
Attendance:  Standing Room Only
Announcer: The Voice
Referees:   Benny, Matthew Grant, and Gerry

1.   “The Endorsement” Sebastian Suave took a short-cut to beat “The Curse” Cecil Nyx, after throwing Nyx into the referee, and taking advantage of the chaos.

2.   In a thrilling four-corners match, Brute Van Slyke defeated Matt Angel, Mikey Skyros, and Tyler Nitro.

3.   In a hard hitting, and violent affair, Tyson Dux defeated Viking, by submission.  The battle saw Viking bring out his barbedwire baseball bat, only to see Dux use it against him.

4.   In an upset of sorts, Heavy Metal Chaos, James Storm and Alextreme were victorious in the the five-team Number one contendership gauntlet.

The first two entrants of the match were High n’ Mighty (Velvet Jones, and Jonathan Rukin) battling Cuts’ N Guts (Tarik and John Greed) to a double count-out.

The next team out was The Fraternity (Channing Decker, and Trent Gibson) who fell to Franky the Mobster and Space Monkey.

And in the end it was HMC shocking many, by pinning Space Monkey, and scoring the win.

Following the match, Space Monkey offered Franky the Mobster a banana, in a peace offering to his frustrated partner.  However, Franky had already had enough of his primate partner, and rejected the gift, and delivered a huge Screwdriver to Space Monkey.

5.   C*4 Underground Champion Kobe Durst once again defeated Evil Uno, and retained his newly won championship, in a hard hitting brawl.

Next up in the show, fans and staff alike were shocked to see former C*4 Champion, Twiggy, enter the building through the side door.

Twiggy took the mic, and proceeded to vent about his feelings of being “an abuse victim” in his relationship with C*4.  The man who has been a part of C*4 since day one, specifically the very first match in the promotion’s decade ago, vented about his wasted season, last year.

Finally, security escorted Twiggy from the building, before allowing the show to move on.

6.   In an impromptu tag team match, Jordynne Grace and Vanessa Kraven defeated “MVP” Michael Von Payton and Rahim Ali.

Von Payton ducked out of the match, leaving Ali to get annihilated by Grace and Kraven.

After the match Vanessa and MVP went back and forth on the microphone, finally agreeing to a match, where if Kraven wins, Von Payton must shave his “soul patch”, and his “faux hawk” will be banned from C*4.  If MVP wins, Kraven must dye her hair blonde, and will no longer be allowed to wrestle men in C*4.

7.   In nearly twenty minutues and in an absolute technical classic, Jonathan Gresham beat Brent Banks.

8.   In a thrilling 40 minute marathon, Mathieu St. Jacques successfully defended the C*4 Championship against five opponents.

Early on “All Ego” Ethan Page seemed poised to go far, however, was eliminated by C*4 Tag Team Champions, Thomas Dubois and Stu Grayson.

Next out, shockingly, was “Bad Boy” Joey Janela, who was eliminated by “Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander.

Josh, favoured by many would continue to impress – only to be distracted by Janela’s valet, Penelope Ford, allowing Janela to run back in and attack him.

Following Janela’s attack, Stu Grayson managed to pin the man who once ended his two year title reign.

The final three participants saw C*4 Champion, Mathieu St. Jacques squaring off with C*4 Tag Team Champions, Thomas Dubois and Stu Grayson.

With all participants exhausted, sensing a chance to take out one of his competitors, Stu pinned his own partner, Thomas Dubois,  shockingly eliminating him.

For the final few minutes, Grayson, and St. Jacques did battle, hitting each other with everything they had.

Grayson seemed to have St. Jacques beaten, when he hit him with a bane-breaker back breaker, only to see the Champion roll out of the ring.

With both men out on their feet, MSJ somehow managed to rally, and keep Grayson down for a three count, following a huge piledriver.

Once again, Mathieu St. Jacques managed to retain… However it became clear that both Stu Grayson and Thomas Dubois are far from finished with him.

We look forward to seeing all of you on Saturday, April 22nd, 2017 as we present #C4Phenomena!
