First, I haven't been to many C*4 shows this one has been the one in a long time.

First impressions: I can see why people enjoy C4's wrestling, amazing show put on by the folks.

I had not seen Vanessa in a few years live she looks great! She has really come into her role and also her look is nice and impressive.

Brute? All I can say is great match! To me this was the match of the evening, not because it had sick bumps (Viking got that one for the night!) but because the story they told while an "easy read" was very well played out by all 4 wrestlers, the 3 vs 1 for a while then you got rid of the big guy for a bit, as he's out of the ring the high flyers flew until he came back for a comeback, you got a bit of everything and in the end Brute wins.

MVP vs Vanessa in Hair vs.. Hair Bikini match at the next show will be entertaining, and hopefully we'll see MVP get shaved LOL.

What else impressed me... Fans were in the show and into the matches which always makes for a great night of watching.

Franky: You sir are a beast! I love your outfit with the mask I didn't recognize you at first having seen you only  afew times previously but dude, you've almost doubled in size since I saw you... Truly beastly! (in a good way)

Viking... Sick ass bump I'm glad to hear you survived... Thrown out of the ring over the top rope and onto the cement floor... Ouch!

Uno dude... Haven't seen you in a few years, you still got it... and have added a bit... (not that I am one to say much I've added more then a bit myself!)

Stu man you are ripped as hell, you haven't stopped loving it it seems, and you're putting the work into it since CPW days!

Tag teams that impressed, seeing that it was a five man mish mash of sorts, the tag match I didn't really enjoy, not because of the guys but just because they didn't have a lot of time to go one on one, the prelim match with double DQ was an ok ending, lets hope we see those two teams back in action to settle the score.

Overall I was impressed with the show.

I've spoke to Mark and he's explained apparently the signs have been a long standing /running joke but I was not a fan of seeing signs with "just" the C word... Don't get me wrong I'm 100% behind expressing yourself, and the guy who took the time to draw lady parts and say "MVP IS A above it made me chuckle... That /was/ funny. However seeing a sign just with the C word (and yes I admit I hate that word) I didn't enjoy it. Why? It takes ten seconds to write a single word that in itself means nothing, lets be more original folks, you're spending your hard earned dollars on a piece of cardboard and making a statement and all you can come up with is "C"... just left me dry, it's a free country and you can say it if you wnat but to me it shows nothing really. Just my thoughts on it, I'm not attacking anyone here just making a comment.

C*4 presents “Mean Streets”
Saturday, March 18, 2017
Ottawa, Ontario
Attendance:  Standing Room Only
Announcer: The Voice
Referees:   Benny, Matthew Grant, and Gerry

1.   “The Endorsement” Sebastian Suave took a short-cut to beat “The Curse” Cecil Nyx, after throwing Nyx into the referee, and taking advantage of the chaos.

2.   In a thrilling four-corners match, Brute Van Slyke defeated Matt Angel, Mikey Skyros, and Tyler Nitro.

3.   In a hard hitting, and violent affair, Tyson Dux defeated Viking, by submission.  The battle saw Viking bring out his barbedwire baseball bat, only to see Dux use it against him.

4.   In an upset of sorts, Heavy Metal Chaos, James Storm and Alextreme were victorious in the the five-team Number one contendership gauntlet.

The first two entrants of the match were High n’ Mighty (Velvet Jones, and Jonathan Rukin) battling Cuts’ N Guts (Tarik and John Greed) to a double count-out.

The next team out was The Fraternity (Channing Decker, and Trent Gibson) who fell to Franky the Mobster and Space Monkey.

And in the end it was HMC shocking many, by pinning Space Monkey, and scoring the win.

Following the match, Space Monkey offered Franky the Mobster a banana, in a peace offering to his frustrated partner.  However, Franky had already had enough of his primate partner, and rejected the gift, and delivered a huge Screwdriver to Space Monkey.

5.   C*4 Underground Champion Kobe Durst once again defeated Evil Uno, and retained his newly won championship, in a hard hitting brawl.

Next up in the show, fans and staff alike were shocked to see former C*4 Champion, Twiggy, enter the building through the side door.

Twiggy took the mic, and proceeded to vent about his feelings of being “an abuse victim” in his relationship with C*4.  The man who has been a part of C*4 since day one, specifically the very first match in the promotion’s decade ago, vented about his wasted season, last year.

Finally, security escorted Twiggy from the building, before allowing the show to move on.

6.   In an impromptu tag team match, Jordynne Grace and Vanessa Kraven defeated “MVP” Michael Von Payton and Rahim Ali.

Von Payton ducked out of the match, leaving Ali to get annihilated by Grace and Kraven.

After the match Vanessa and MVP went back and forth on the microphone, finally agreeing to a match, where if Kraven wins, Von Payton must shave his “soul patch”, and his “faux hawk” will be banned from C*4.  If MVP wins, Kraven must dye her hair blonde, and will no longer be allowed to wrestle men in C*4.

7.   In nearly twenty minutues and in an absolute technical classic, Jonathan Gresham beat Brent Banks.

8.   In a thrilling 40 minute marathon, Mathieu St. Jacques successfully defended the C*4 Championship against five opponents.

Early on “All Ego” Ethan Page seemed poised to go far, however, was eliminated by C*4 Tag Team Champions, Thomas Dubois and Stu Grayson.

Next out, shockingly, was “Bad Boy” Joey Janela, who was eliminated by “Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander.

Josh, favoured by many would continue to impress – only to be distracted by Janela’s valet, Penelope Ford, allowing Janela to run back in and attack him.

Following Janela’s attack, Stu Grayson managed to pin the man who once ended his two year title reign.

The final three participants saw C*4 Champion, Mathieu St. Jacques squaring off with C*4 Tag Team Champions, Thomas Dubois and Stu Grayson.

With all participants exhausted, sensing a chance to take out one of his competitors, Stu pinned his own partner, Thomas Dubois,  shockingly eliminating him.

For the final few minutes, Grayson, and St. Jacques did battle, hitting each other with everything they had.

Grayson seemed to have St. Jacques beaten, when he hit him with a bane-breaker back breaker, only to see the Champion roll out of the ring.

With both men out on their feet, MSJ somehow managed to rally, and keep Grayson down for a three count, following a huge piledriver.

Once again, Mathieu St. Jacques managed to retain… However it became clear that both Stu Grayson and Thomas Dubois are far from finished with him.

We look forward to seeing all of you on Saturday, April 22nd, 2017 as we present #C4Phenomena!

This Saturday night, we return to action as we continue our tenth huge season.

We have two more big matches to announce to round out the card for #C4MeanStreets

First up, following his “match” with Vanessa Kraven in January, Michael Von Payton has made it clear that he is ready to “move on” from his former partner.

Well, we have obliged, and are allowing him to face a brand new opponent…

Making her return after a much longer than intended hiatus, we are pleased to welcome back Jordynne Grace!

Grace shocked many back in June when she pinned Sebastian Suave.  Can she return and continue her winning ways?

Find out, this Saturday night!

Finally, we have a match featuring some familiar faces colliding with a couple of talents who have been impressing as of late.

We will also feature the official regular season debut a man who impressed many last month at #C4Underground3, the Beast from the North East, Brute Van Slyke!

And finally, we will be welcoming the debuting Tyler Nitro, a New England standout making his Canadian debut.

This one will be a high flying and high impact contest that you don’t want to miss!

#C4MeanStreets – C*4 Tag Team Champions added to Main Event!  The Endorsement returns to C*4 next Saturday night!  Top Contendership Tag Team Gauntlet!
In just over week, we return to action with a loaded event, featuring one of the biggest Main Events in C*4 history.

Today, we announce our final two participants.

If this match wasn’t loaded enough with one C*4 Champion, it is now overloaded with two more C*4 Champions.

No doubt, this could get interesting…  The final two participants are C*4 Tag Team Champions, Stu Grayson, and Thomas Dubois!

Grayson, the longest reigning C*4 Champion in the promotion’s history it should be noted both won, and lost his title, two years later, in this very type of match.

Next up we are pleased to announce that we are welcoming back a man who has been a part of C*4 since the very first season… A man who seemingly has found a new inspiration, and mentality – and no doubt is looking for success in C*4…  We welcome back “The Endorsement” Sebastian Suave.

His opponent however is definitely looking to put a damper on the parade of the returning Suave…  And, no doubt, could take out the Endorsement, before any sponsorship deals are made…

“The Endorsement” Sebastian Suave

Lastly for today, a battle for top contendership in a division stacked with competition.

Five teams will do battle in a gauntlet.  Two teams will begin.  Each team will have a randomly chosen spot, and when one team is eliminated, another team will enter, until on team is left standing.

As #C4MeanStreets quickly approaches, we have plenty more announcements to make regarding this huge card.

Over the last couple of weeks, we have been revealing the challengers to Mathieu St. Jacques’ C*4 Championship.  So far, we’ve got a former C*4 Champion announced, and a first time challenger set to challenge.

Today we have yet another opponent.  A man who has gone toe-to-toe with St. Jacques on two occasions, and come closer to anybody else to dethrone the long-time Champion…

The third opponent to challenge on March 18th is the one and only, the “Bad Boy” Joey Janela!

#C4MeanStreets – “All Ego” takes aim at the C*4 Championship! More first time ever action!
We’re under two weeks away, and still have plenty of news to announce for March 18th’s giant event.

First up, Mathieu St. Jacques second challenger!

A man who first appeared in C*4 back during our first season, and since that time has gone on to become one of the top talents on the North American independent scene.

A man who is also quite familiar with the previously announced challenger, Josh Alexander, as both a partner and opponent.

We are pleased to announce “All Ego” Ethan Page will compete for the C*4 Championship at #C4MeanStreets!

Next up, we are very excited to announce another First Time Ever encounter…

Having gone move for move with the likes of “Speedball” Mike Bailey and Tyson Dux, Jonathan Gresham has more than proved himself in C*4 competition.  However, Gresham is still looking to capture his first victory in a C*4 ring.

On March 18th, Gresham will take on one of the all-around most talented athletes on the C*4 roster and former Tag Team Champion, Brent Banks!

Banks has been looking to gain some momentum of his own as of late, and a victory over Gresham would do just that.

Don’t miss out on this potential show stealer!

#C4MeanStreets – St. Jacques first Challenger announced!  Underground Championship Rematch!
We are pleased to announce our first challenger to Mathieu St. Jacques in our third ever, Six-Way Championship Elimination Match.

In November, he came within inches of defeating St. Jacques.

In January, he defeated perennial top contender, “Speedball” Mike Bailey.

Five years ago, he dethroned the last seemingly unstoppable C*4 Champion in the same style of match.

On March 18th, 2017, this man looks to repeat history…

St. Jacques first opponent is “Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander!

This past weekend, in a wild contest, “Diamond Tiger” Kobe Durst scored an incredible upset when he defeated Evil UNO to win the C*4 Underground Championship.

The match was not without controversy.  C*4 matchmakers have quickly agreed to give Uno a rematch for the Championship.

Will Uno reclaim the only Championship he has ever won in C*4?  Or will Durst manage to defeat the C*4 original, and prove to all that he deserves the Championship he recently won?

C*4 “Underground Vol. 3” Official Results
Saturday February 25, 2017
Ottawa, Ontario
Attendance: 350+
Announcer:  The Voice
Commentary:  Adam B, Chaz Lovely, & Bobby Chon
Referees:  Benny and Alex Hetfield

1.   “MVP” Michael Von Payton and Rahim Ali defeated the teams of Mark Wheeler & Ryan Donovan, as well as the tandem of Courteous Upstanding Men (Brooklyn Foot & D-Roy).

2.   Oliver Strange pinned Decker Lockart.

3.   In an impressive debut for both participants, Penelope Ford beat Flo Riley.

4.   Deeno used his experience to overcome the rookie, Isiah Bronson.

5.   In an entertaining contest, Space Monkey overcame Jonothan Rukin and the debuing Tony Deppen.

6.   Jeff Cannonball scored somewhat of an upset, defeating “The Curse” Cecil Nyx.

7.   In an absolutely wild six-man tag, C*4 Champion Mathieu St. Jacques, and C*4 Tag Team Champions, Stu Grayson and Thomas Dubois, defeated the debuting Brute Van Slyke, Jay Freddie and Mikey Skyros.

The debuting trio gave it their all and went neck and neck with the three Champions.

It should be noted that tensions seemed to run high between St. Jacques and Stu Grayson, with Dubois frequently getting in between his partners.

8.   In a breakthrough performance, the debuting “Concrete Rose” Sonny Kiss went toe to toe with “Speedball” Mike Bailey.  In the end, Bailey was victorious, but not before Kiss won over many in attendance with his unique style, and fighting spirit.

9.   In a brawl that went through the venue, Kobe Durst shockingly defeated Evil Uno to capture the C*4 Underground Championship.

The end came moments after Uno thought he had pinned Durst, after powerbombing him through a pair of chairs, and going for the cover.  While the ref counted to three, the official immediately attempted to correct himself when he noticed Durst’s hand holding the bottom rope.  However, caught in the moment, the timekeeper rang the bell.

As Uno began to celebrate with his Championship, the official attempted to explain his mistake.

In the midst of the confusion, Uno turned around to eat a jumping double-knee facebuster, that smashed the Underground Championship into his face.

With Uno knocked out, Durst scored the win.

Thank you to all of our fans who came out for the third annual “Underground” event, and helped us welcome plenty of new faces in action.  We hope to see you all out on March 18th for #C4MeanStreets!
