With the post re: Joe Doering getting a WWE developmental deal, it got me thinking...
Who from around the local Ottawa Indy scene do you think would have the best chance at getting a WWE Developmental deal??
Off the top of my head, I could see: MVP and/or Portia Perez
Also on the subject, I'm surprised Steen isn't in Developmental right now. I'd also like to see Brakuis (sp), the guy who refs C*4 shows quite often, get a chance.

The one's I feel have the best chance at a deal are:
MVP and Damian Styles/Maximus Primal... maybe I'll put Roy Toy in there too.
Now I haven't watched WWE for years before last Monday (and I only watched because of Cheech and Chong), I don't know for sure if the WWE is looking more towards guys that are 6+ feet tall and 240+ pounds, but if they're looking for more guys of the Rey Mysterio high flying type, then maybe guys like Max Alexander and Stupified would get a look.

MVP - based on talent, look, and age.
Seeing as WWE is signing alot of smaller - but in shape - dudes, too - Stup could get a deal.

Lots of guys get tryouts and don't get deals. "Flubbing" it ain't necessarily gonna NOT get you a deal (Acting like a dick will - Not to say Tomasino did that) And lots of guys get multiple tryouts before they either get a deal or don't get another call.
"Tryout" ain't exactly the right term to describe the process either... it's more like a "look at". It's a chance to demonstrate one's ability in front of and/or with people in a position to make recommendations to the WWE hiring team. Many "looked at" guys will be given feedback and advice on what the WWE representatives feel they need to do to increase their chances down the road.
Once someone does get a development deal and begins working under that contract in FCW or wherever (like Doering) THAT is the real "tryout". THAT is the place where they determine whether you will fit the WWE mold or not.
